Possible Reasons Why My Chayote Plants are Dying
i made this without baking soda 😊 I can confirm that it works, also made some for my aunt who had an infestation of some type of larger sized fruit flies. During the evening the were all over her wooden patio cover. she was so happy becauseshe was about to hire an exterminator
Thank you for sharing your testimony 🙂
How much peatmoss should we use for 1 hole ?
I tried similar recipes like this only thing is that when the water is dry from the leaves, the backing soda is dry too and is burning the leaves 🍃
Tf is the point in trapping them if you're gonna let them go
This is great to know thank you!
My mum made this when I'm sick it's gross but works
csn i use grass clipings and weed clippings for this?
Put some apple sing vinegar there please
This fery mantap
😂all the hostility in these comments lol
I know, right? Poor fruit flies 😂
@wellnessandcountrylife I want badly to say I agree, lol, but I get where they're coming from. My thoughts are. Won't they fly back in?
Will this work on clover mites? They are eating all my campanula flowers. I try washing them off with the hose but every time I look their all over each flower
You are so repetitive and appear confused..
i ain’t letting those mfs out 😭😭
👍😊 but i have a question please How often does one apply the it on the farm?
Dirty Dirty Dirty disgusting
Plz don't use garbage for fertilizer.its dirty plz use proper fertilizer U get in market pure
Actually, it's okay to use organic garbage, than synthetic fertilizer.
what have you use
The smell?!!
You.are doing very informative hands on vids you are a great permaculture teacher advocat and will get this knowledge to soooo many new people who can benifit for there own food production at home.

😄
Looks yummy connect
Thank you 😋
Could I use avocado oil. I don t have olive oil ? My plants and flowers are destroyed by the insects lots of holes in the leaves.
Sure you can use avocado oil
Will this work for grasshoppers?
Not sure, probably can detee the small ones from coming back
Why is it important to cover the pail? Suppose you can't, does it lose anything or is it just for convenience?
To prevent mosquitos and other breeding bugs ... and to keep the smell in
@@wellnessandcountrylife thanks, it's what I suspected. I have mine near the cattle pen so I don't notice the stink
I will let some boiling, scalding hot water in that jar....once they inside
😟
Just what I was looking for 👍. Gracias
I hope it works for you
I just made it. Something is attacking my dahlias. While applying, I saw an atricious looking brown spider, daddy long legs and earwigs. Sure hope I can save the dahlias because they were beautiful when I planted them.
How is it, did the mixture works for your dahlia issues?
@@wellnessandcountrylife I am not real sure yet. I haven't seen any pests, but haven't seen any new growth of the plants yet either.
God bless you too. Thank you for the information.
Thank you too. Stay blessed!
Naw got to get it back in blood
That is a ton... omg. I see maybe 3-5 in my kitchen at most. So frustrating having these though
Good 👍🏻🙏🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
They will, indeed, make their way back in your house!! 😮😮😮😵💫😵💫🤔🤔🤔
They can, but I'm ready with my tools and defenses 🤣
Do you sell grafted calamondin?
I've sold a few to my friends, but I didn't graft them..i bought them from Lowe's
Shake them outside??? For what? For them to find their way BACK INTO THE HOUSE... Un Un.. lol
If you feel nice the day you capture them... you can just release them outside 🤣
Chris has been the same since weve known him and im sure since sandia has known him. She AGREES with him! She is being mealy mouthed though, trying to say she wants him to act differently but she likely validates his ideas. Thats why chris said shes weak minded i see now.
I hate flies as much as the next guy but I love that you let them go 😅
🤣
90% trees planted in the round hole in the world and they performed exellent
I think so too. If seeds in tbe forest can penetrate on hard soil, dug holes with good soil make the seeds/plant grow faster and healthier.
nice info & tips
Thank you!
Cant they just fly back up and out?
No, there's bo incentive if they get out. Their food is inside
Hii Maria Where to buy seeds.?
You can buy at a grocery store, just a regular chayote vegetable. Choose the ones with tough skin, let it sit in kitchen near the window for several weeks, and you'll see a sprout.
She's wondering why her trick works but she still can't seem to get rid of the damn things...🙉😅
LOL, I don't like them at all... but i'm showing you how you can be merciful to them 🤣
Are all the steps in this method variable depending on soil type? The reason I ask is that the soil in my area is very, very soft and loose. It is volcanic soil and the layers lower than about two feet are basically pumice. It is VERY easy to dig holes in! I could probably dig that same 3 x 3 hole in less than ten minutes with nothing but a shovel! In fact, it is so soft that it is hard to keep the hole from caving in as you dig. I don't think I'd need to poke holes in the sides for the roots. Given my situation, would I still need the air chamber pipe in the bottom of the hole? The soil is very well draining, almost too well!
If your soil is loose, you don't necessarily need the pipe, nor all the suggested amendments, however you still need a lot of organic matter, compost and local soil to enrich the soil that you put in the hole.
ABSOLUTELY GENIUS!! THANK-YOU 🕯️
I hope it works for you. 🙏
Thank you for your content. What happens if there are maggots? Where do you store this liquid inside or outside in the sun or the shed?
Hi you can toss the maggots. If possible don't let the maggots breed inside. In the shade or in the sun doesn't matter. Just keep the bucket covered so bugs won't get in
@@wellnessandcountrylife Thank you for your answer 😊
I’m not vegan but if were I would eat these and grow my own green
Hell no im not letting then out, then mfs finna know pain
Love your experiment. I surely want to try it.
Yea, you can definitely try it. Best wishes and happy gardening 🙂
